Graphic Artist

Katia Dasko

Hello, I'm Katia. I was born in Minsk, Belarus in 1992. I am engaged in printmaking, original graphics and book illustration.

Techniques I work in: etching, monotype, linocut, woodcut, watercolour painting.

I am inspired by simple life, landscapes, routine.

And also poetry.

The works of 2020-2023 are created as a reminder and longing for down-to-earth and tangible, simple beauty.

Malanka zhnie, grom malocic

The book "Malanka zhnie, grom malocic'" represents the collection of poems compiled by the authors and illustrated by etchings made by Katia Dasko. This is the author's last lifetime publication.

Punkciry

Punkciry have their own poetics, their own relationship to reality. Concise as formulas and eloquent as paintings, they recognise in the ordinary the essential and address everyone and everything.
The book is the most comprehensive edition of Ales Riazanov's Punkciry (from 1966 to 2017), and the reader can trace the evolution of the genre itself.

Vaverki lushchac' zorki

A book of poems for pre-school and primary school children. The author is Vladimir Mozgo.
The illustrations are done in watercolour technique, watercolour pencils. 2019.
